How can a cash box for banknotes be opened?

Cash boxes are typically opened manually using the included key. Simply insert it into the lock on the lid and turn. However, there are models of key-operated cash boxes that additionally offer electronic opening. To achieve this, the cash box for coins must be connected via an RJ12 cable to a cash register and programmed with a command to trigger opening. As a result, pressing a specific key on the cash register will automatically open our metal cash box.
