RFID

RFID technology utilizes radio waves to recognize objects from a distance. The construction and operation of the system are very simple. Small devices called tags are installed on objects. Each tag consists of an electronic circuit with stored data and a receiver-transmitter antenna. Data is written to and read from the tags using radio waves generated by an RFID reader, which also contains an antenna.

RFID technology is used to identify items at a distance and uses radio waves for this purpose. The information is stored on special chips that are placed on objects. RFID tags can take the form of an electronic chip that records and stores data and creates a radio signal, or a receiving and transmitting antenna.
