The Tag-MR6P-6025 is a self-adhesive UHF RFID tag in sticker form, engineered to deliver high read reliability on both metal and non-metal surfaces. Operating at 902-928 MHz, it provides a read range of up to 4.5 m with a stationary reader and up to 2.8 m on metal or 1.4 m off metal with a handheld reader. Its foam construction allows it to conform to curved or uneven surfaces, making it well suited for asset labelling in offices, healthcare facilities, warehouses, and industrial kitchens. Unlike paper or polyester RFID labels, the MR6P-6025 uses a foam substrate that creates an air gap between the antenna and the tagged surface. This prevents the detuning effect caused by direct contact with metal, allowing the tag to maintain consistent performance on metallic assets such as tools, equipment frames, and shelving. The sticker adhesive provides secure bonding to smooth or slightly textured surfaces. Rated IP57, the tag resists dust ingress and temporary immersion in water.
The MR6P-6025 is built around the NXP UCODE 8 chip, providing 128 bits of EPC memory and 96 bits of TID memory. It supports up to 100,000 write cycles and guarantees data retention for up to 50 years — ideal for long-lifecycle asset management. The tag’s operating temperature range of -20°C to +85°C and storage temperature of -20°C to +85°C make it suitable for both indoor and moderately demanding outdoor applications.
The Tag-MR6P-6025 is designed for use with thermal transfer RFID printers, allowing on-demand printing of barcodes, QR codes, text, and logos directly onto the label surface. Compatible printers include the Zebra R110Xi4, Postek TX3R, and SATO CL4NX. This makes it straightforward to integrate RFID identification with existing barcode-based workflows, providing a dual-technology label in a single compact format of 60 × 25 × 1 mm.
