The wagPRO-K5 supports five measurement units: grams (g), kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), ounces (oz), and millilitres (ml). You can switch between them with a single button press, making the scale suitable for a wide range of recipes and applications.
Place an empty container on the scale and press the tare button. The display resets to zero, and the scale measures only the weight of the contents you add — without including the container. This is useful for bowls, cups, or any other vessel you want to weigh ingredients into.
The scale runs on 2 x AAA (1.5V) batteries, which are included in the set. Battery life depends on usage frequency. The built-in low battery indicator alerts you before the batteries run out, and the automatic shut-off feature helps extend battery life during periods of inactivity.
