Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between direct thermal and thermal transfer printing?

Direct thermal printing uses heat-sensitive labels and requires no ribbon — ideal for short-lived labels such as shipping labels. Thermal transfer printing uses a ribbon to produce durable, smudge-resistant prints for long-term labelling. The OPrint-DA200N supports both methods.

Does the printer work with popular label software?

Yes. With support for EPL, ZPL, ZPL II, DPL and TSPL command languages, the printer integrates with most label management systems and logistics applications.

What barcodes can it print?

The OPrint-DA200N prints common 1D barcodes (EAN-13, Code 128, Code 39, ITF and more) and 2D codes (QR, DataMatrix, PDF417, Aztec), ensuring versatile label usage.

How can I connect the printer to my network?

The printer offers a built-in Ethernet (LAN) port for a stable connection within the company network, plus USB 2.0 and RS-232 for direct connections to individual workstations.
