The SecureEntry-CR50HF reads 13.56 MHz RFID cards and key fobs compatible with the ISO 14443A/B standard, including popular Mifare cards. Once connected to an electronic or electromagnetic door lock, presenting a valid card grants instant access. The reader confirms each successful read with an LED indicator and an audible buzzer signal, providing clear feedback to the user. The Wiegand 26 and Wiegand 34 interface enables seamless integration with access controllers, time attendance recorders, or any other Wiegand-compatible device — the reader simply delivers the card UID to the controller, which manages access rules.
The reader’s metal construction with IP68 certification ensures complete protection against dust and sustained water immersion — far exceeding the requirements for typical outdoor installations. Whether mounted at a factory gate, an apartment entrance or a car park barrier, the SecureEntry-CR50HF maintains reliable operation across a wide operating temperature range. The DC 9V–16V power supply (standard 12V) makes it compatible with most access control power solutions, and the communication distance of up to 100 m between the reader and the controller provides flexible installation options.
The SecureEntry-CR50HF is designed for straightforward mounting next to any door frame, gate post or turnstile. Its integrated cable with colour-coded wires connects directly to the access controller or time attendance recorder via the Wiegand interface. The reader acts as a pure input device — it captures the RFID card UID and transmits it in real time to the connected system, which handles all access decisions and user data storage. This makes it suitable for both standalone door controllers and enterprise-grade access management systems.

The SecureEntry-CR50HF is a reader only — it reads the card UID and transmits it via Wiegand 26 or Wiegand 34 to a separate access controller or time attendance recorder. It does not make access decisions on its own and does not store any user data. You need a compatible controller to define access rules and manage users.
The reader works with 13.56 MHz RFID cards and key fobs compliant with the ISO 14443A/B standard, including the widely used Mifare series (Mifare Classic, Mifare Ultralight, Mifare DESFire). Cards operating at 125 kHz (EM4100, HID Prox) are not supported — for those, see the SecureEntry-CR10LF model.
Yes. The IP68-rated metal housing provides complete protection against dust and sustained water immersion, making it suitable for permanent outdoor mounting — at building entrances, gates, car parks and other exposed locations. It withstands rain, humidity and environmental contamination without degrading performance.
For Wiegand 26/34 installations, the SecureEntry-CR50HF supports a communication distance of up to 100 m between the reader and the connected controller or recorder. Use appropriately shielded multi-core cable for best results in electrically noisy environments.
