The HD44A is equipped with a powerful laser engine allowing for the scanning of leading 1D codes at a speed of 300 scans per second. The clear, red laser line enables precise targeting and hassle-free reading of codes. Particularly noteworthy is the ability to operate in automatic mode, which makes the scanner almost maintenance-free. When a code is within the laser beam’s range, the reader instantly scans it automatically, without the need to manually press a button. This feature not only enhances ease of use but also contributes to increased work efficiency. The set includes a dedicated stand that supports automatic code scanning.
Wireless and unrestricted operation is provided by radio communication, facilitated through a USB receiver included in the set. The use of radio wave technology allows movement with the scanner within a radius of up to 20 meters indoors and up to 100 meters in open spaces. Effortless operation, even through a full day of intensive scanning, is guaranteed by a powerful battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. This eliminates the need for frequent charging breaks – a full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours and is done using the USB cable included in the set.
The device offers operation in two modes. In real-time mode, barcode data is transmitted directly to the computer immediately upon scanning. Memory mode allows scanned codes to be saved into the reader’s built-in memory for later transfer to the target device. An additional useful feature is the ability to scan codes without data loss: when the scanner is out of wireless range, read codes are saved in internal memory, preventing data loss. Transmission of saved codes occurs once the connection with the USB receiver plugged into the computer port is re-established.

When the HD44A is placed on its dedicated stand, it enters automatic mode – codes are read instantly the moment they enter the laser beam, with no need to press the trigger. This makes the scanner almost maintenance-free and is ideal for high-volume checkouts and packing stations.
The HD44A communicates with the computer via radio waves using the USB receiver included in the set. The effective range is up to 20 meters indoors and up to 100 meters in open spaces. No drivers are required – the receiver is recognised by the computer as a standard HID keyboard.
The HD44A has a built-in memory that stores scanned codes when the scanner is out of range of the USB receiver. As soon as the connection is re-established, all saved codes are automatically transmitted to the computer, so no data is lost.
The 2600 mAh battery supports a full day of intensive scanning on a single charge. Charging takes approximately 3-4 hours and is done using the USB cable included in the set.
