The HD3900 is a practical wireless barcode scanner characterized by its multifunctionality and advanced features, allowing it to be used in virtually any location. It can be effectively applied in small shops, supermarkets, offices, and even logistics centers and warehouses. Equipped with a CMOS scanning matrix, this scanner enables reading of leading 1D and 2D codes including QR and Aztec codes, both printed and displayed on LCD and LED/OLED screens as well as on mobile devices. The lack of moving parts in this matrix makes the scanner more resistant to damage than traditional laser scanners. Browse more wireless barcode scanners and QR code readers in our offer.
Note: The scanner does not read Aztec codes found on vehicle registration certificates.

Wireless and unrestricted operation is provided by radio communication via the included USB micro-receiver. By utilizing radio waves, the user can comfortably move around with the scanner within a range of several meters. An additional advantage is the ability to charge the scanner and transfer data via the included USB cable, allowing for use in wired mode as well.

The storage mode is a key feature of the HD3900, enabling the saving of scanned codes in the device’s built-in internal memory. After reading the appropriate control code from the manual, it is possible to display the number of stored codes, transfer data to a computer, and clear the device’s memory. The HD3900 offers storage of up to 120,000 scanned codes — ideal for offline inventory work in areas without a constant computer connection.

The HD3900 supports two scanning modes: manual (triggered by pressing the scan button) and automatic (triggered when a code is brought close to the scanner). The automatic mode is especially convenient in high-throughput environments where speed matters. The scanner also provides audible and visual confirmation of each successful scan, ensuring reliable feedback in noisy or busy conditions.

Storage mode allows the HD3900 to save scanned barcodes in its internal memory when it is not connected to a computer. The device can store up to 120,000 codes. Once you are ready to transfer data, connect via USB cable or bring the scanner within range of the micro-receiver, then trigger the upload using the appropriate control code from the manual.
Yes. The CMOS matrix in the HD3900 can reliably read 1D and 2D barcodes from LCD, LED and OLED screens, including smartphone displays. This makes it suitable for mobile ticketing, loyalty apps, and e-receipts. Note that Aztec codes on vehicle registration certificates are not supported.
The USB micro-receiver must be plugged into the host computer for wireless scanning. If you prefer wired operation, you can connect the scanner directly via the included USB cable — this also charges the battery simultaneously.
