The SolidHand-M01 is a VESA adapter for monitors that have no factory mounting holes on the back of the housing. It lets you hang older displays and models with a fixed, non-removable stand on a desk or wall monitor mount. The adapter fits any mount with the VESA 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm standard, and a full set of mounting hardware is included.
It is designed for monitors from 13 to 27 inches, with a housing thickness of 26.5 to 65 mm and a weight of up to 8 kg. The adapter supports flat screens only – it is not suitable for curved monitors.
The adapter uses a system of four independently adjustable arms that are spread to match the outer dimensions of the monitor housing and then pressed against the screen edges, locking it in a stable position. This lets it fit displays of very different proportions, without touching the housing and without drilling a single hole.
The arms are made of powder-coated steel, and the ends that touch the monitor are plastic, so they will not scratch the housing. The fine-grained matt black keeps the adapter invisible behind the screen. Once fitted, the monitor gains the arm’s full functionality: height adjustment, swivel and tilt.
