The SecureEntry-AC500 supports multiple authentication methods to suit different security requirements. Users can unlock the door by presenting a 125 kHz RFID proximity card or key fob, or by entering a personal PIN code on the numeric keypad. The system can be configured for RFID only, PIN only, or two-factor authentication requiring both card and PIN — significantly increasing security. This flexibility allows you to tailor access control to the exact needs of your facility.
The built-in memory of the SecureEntry-AC500 can store up to 2,000 cards and passwords, making it well-suited for facilities with a high volume of users. The device operates at 125 kHz and runs on DC 12V, allowing direct connection to an electronic or electromagnetic door lock or doorbell. The reader also features a Wiegand 26 interface for integration with third-party access control systems and controllers.
Constructed from zinc alloy with an IP65-rated enclosure, the SecureEntry-AC500 is resistant to rain, dust and harsh outdoor conditions. The device can be mounted at building entrances, on gates, or at any exterior access point without concern about weather damage. A dual-color LED indicator and audible signal confirm successful or failed authorization at a glance — green LED and a beep for accepted credentials, red LED for rejected access attempts.

In RFID-only mode, the door unlocks as soon as an authorized card or key fob is presented to the reader. In two-factor mode, the user must first swipe the card and then enter their PIN code on the keypad — both steps are required before the door opens. Two-factor mode provides a higher level of security and is recommended for areas with sensitive equipment or restricted materials.

The SecureEntry-AC500 operates on DC 12V and can be connected to most standard electronic door strikes (electric strikes) and electromagnetic locks. The Wiegand 26 output also allows integration with a separate access control panel or controller, which in turn manages the lock mechanism and can support more complex installations with multiple readers.
The internal memory supports up to 2,000 entries (RFID cards and/or PIN codes), making the SecureEntry-AC500 suitable for medium and large facilities including office buildings, warehouses, apartment blocks and institutional premises.
