Unlock the door with a password or RFID card
The SecureEntry-AC500 offers the ability to unlock the door using either an RFID card or a user-assigned PIN code, entered on a numeric keypad. The access control reader allows you to set authorization by RFID card only, user password only, or a combination of the two. To increase security, the device can be programmed in such a way that the user, in order to open the door, is required to enter the password and read the RFID card. You can also set up the access control system in such a way that it gives you the option of unlocking access with an RFID card or PIN code. These options allow you to customize access control according to your needs.
Practical functionality
The access keypad features a built-in memory that can register up to 2,000 cards and passwords, making it ideal for facilities with a high flow of people. The device operates on 125 kHz and offers a 12V DC voltage. This allows the reader to be connected to an electronic or electromagnetic lock or doorbell. In addition, the SecureEntry-AC500 has a Wiegand 26 interface.
