The TimeLok-400 features functional and intuitive operation with built-in software that enables instant use straight out of the box. The device does not require a constant internet connection, providing reliable offline operation. No additional software installation is needed for basic recording. The large 2.4″ LCD display and 16 physical buttons make daily use comfortable for every employee.
The recorder supports up to 3,000 employees and stores up to 100,000 attendance logs in its internal memory, ensuring continuous time management even in larger organizations.
All attendance data is stored in the device’s internal memory without requiring any external programs. Data can be exported directly from the device via a USB pendrive or external drive. The recorder automatically generates a text document with attendance logs for all employees or for a selected employee and time period — no external software needed to run the report.
The TimeLok-400 combines advanced communication options including WiFi, WEB, P2P and 4G for fast, reliable data synchronization across networks. IC Wiegand output enables integration with access control systems and door locks. A built-in battery provides backup operation for approximately 1 hour during power outages, ensuring no data loss. The 4G module guarantees high-speed data transmission even in locations without a fixed internet line, making the device ideal for remote or temporary worksites.

The device supports three verification methods: fingerprint (up to 1,000 fingerprints stored), RFID card or key fob operating at 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz (up to 3,000 users), and PIN code. All three methods can be used independently or combined for additional security.
Yes. The device has built-in software and stores all attendance data in internal memory, so it operates fully offline. Data can be exported at any time via USB. Network connectivity (WiFi, WEB, P2P, 4G) is optional and used for real-time synchronization with management software such as BeepClock.
Yes. The device features an IC Wiegand output which allows it to be connected to door locks, electric strikes, or access control panels. This makes it suitable for combined time recording and door access management in one unit.
The device is compatible with the BeepClock cloud-based subscription system for real-time attendance management. It can also work with the free Attendance Tracker application (third-party software, available for download — support not provided by HDWR). For basic use, no software is required as reports can be generated directly on the device.
