The arms of the SolidHand-BM02U are equipped with a gas spring mechanism that allows easy and precise positioning of each monitor in the desired location. The spring counterbalances the weight of the display, so height and angle adjustments require minimal effort. The mount supports 180° horizontal rotation of each arm, as well as tilt and recline, letting you find the perfect viewing angle. The pivot function allows you to rotate each monitor 90° into portrait orientation — ideal for coding, reading long documents or working with vertical content.
The SolidHand-BM02U mounts directly on the desk surface using a sturdy clamp or grommet base, providing a stable, wobble-free foundation for both monitors. A standout feature is the two built-in USB 3.0 ports in the base, which let you connect external devices — such as a keyboard, mouse, USB drive or headset — directly from your desk without reaching around to the back of the computer. VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) defines a standard pattern of four mounting holes on the back of a monitor. The SolidHand-BM02U supports VESA 75×75 mm and 100×100 mm patterns, which cover the vast majority of monitors from 17 to 32 inches. To check compatibility, look at the rear panel of your monitor for four threaded holes arranged in a square — they will be labelled 75×75 or 100×100 in your monitor’s manual.
The two USB 3.0 ports integrated into the base of the SolidHand-BM02U function as a passive USB hub — they connect to one of your computer’s USB ports via the included cable and give you two additional USB connections right at the front of your desk. This is convenient for regularly connecting USB drives, a mouse, a keyboard or a headset without reaching around to the back of your PC.
