The SecureEntry-CR50LF operates at 125 kHz with an operating voltage of DC 9V–16V (standard 12V) and a proximity read range of 3–10 cm. When connected to an electric or electromagnetic door lock, presenting a valid RFID card instantly unlocks the secured entry. Successful card reads are confirmed by an LED indicator and audible beep. The reader supports both Wiegand 26 and Wiegand 34 interfaces, enabling easy integration with time attendance recorders, access controllers, or any other Wiegand-compatible device.
The all-metal construction of the SecureEntry-CR50LF delivers superior resistance to mechanical damage and tampering attempts compared to plastic housings. The SecureEntry-CR50LF is a reader only — it reads the card UID and sends it via Wiegand 26 or Wiegand 34 to a separate access controller or time attendance recorder. The reader does not make access decisions on its own and does not store user data. A compatible Wiegand controller is required to define and enforce access rules.
The reader works with standard 125 kHz RFID proximity cards and key fobs based on EM-standard chips (EM4100 and compatible). These are among the most widely used access cards available. Cards operating at 13.56 MHz (Mifare, HID iCLASS, DESFire) are not supported.
Wiegand 26 transmits a 26-bit data frame (8-bit facility code + 16-bit card number), while Wiegand 34 transmits a 34-bit frame allowing a larger card number space. The SecureEntry-CR50LF supports both — choose the format supported by your access controller or time recorder. Most standard controllers accept Wiegand 26.
Yes. The reader is designed for wide-range outdoor operation. The metal IP68 housing and internal electronics handle temperatures from well below 0°C up to high summer temperatures, making it suitable for demanding climates. Check the full specification for exact operating temperature limits.
The reader transmits only the card UID via the Wiegand interface and does not store any personal data internally. Personal data processing (user names, access logs) takes place in the connected access controller or software platform. Ensure that the overall system complies with applicable data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR).
