The HDWR HD7700 is a mobile wireless QR and barcode scanner designed to clip directly onto a smartphone. Its durable matte housing provides both functionality and an attractive look. The adjustable clamp mechanism securely holds phones up to 1 cm thick, with a soft lining that prevents scratching and slipping. The built-in CMOS sensor reads all major 1D and 2D codes including QR from paper labels and LCD/LED/OLED screens.

The HD7700 delivers fast and accurate scanning at up to 200 scans per second thanks to its CMOS imaging engine. It handles damaged, blurred and screen-displayed codes with ease. Successful reads are confirmed by an audible beep, LED indicator and vibration — ensuring reliable feedback even in noisy warehouse environments. The scanner supports both manual (button) and automatic (proximity-activated) scanning modes.

The HD7700 offers two wireless modes: Bluetooth for direct pairing with smartphones and tablets, and 2.4G radio (via included USB dongle) for extended range. The wireless reach is 10–15 metres. A USB-C cable is included for wired data transfer or simultaneous scanning and charging.

The HD7700 features two operating modes. In real-time mode, scanned codes are transmitted instantly to the connected device. In storage mode, the scanner saves up to 50,000 codes in built-in memory for later batch upload to a computer — perfect for inventory and stocktaking tasks.
