It combines QR/barcode scanning with UHF RFID tag reading (840–960 MHz) in one versatile device. A convenient power switch on the housing conserves energy between scanning sessions.
The HD8500-RF features a high-quality scanning engine for near-instant reading of 1D and 2D barcodes (including QR, Data Matrix, mCode) from paper labels and LCD/LED/OLED screens. The built-in UHF RFID reader (840–960 MHz) scans industrial tags at distances of up to several metres — ideal for asset tracking and inventory management. The scanner supports manual and automatic scanning modes and offers Virtual COM for serial-port integration over USB.
The HD8500-RF offers 2.4G radio with an impressive range of up to 100 metres and Bluetooth up to 20 metres. The included docking station charges the scanner and holds it securely for hands-free automatic scanning. Built-in memory stores scanned codes for batch upload when working outside wireless range.

The HD8100-RF reads 13.56 MHz (NFC/Mifare) RFID tags at close range. The HD8500-RF reads UHF RFID tags (840–960 MHz) at longer distances — better suited for industrial asset tracking and warehouse inventory.
The 2.4G mode reaches up to 100 metres in open space, and Bluetooth up to 20 metres — both significantly greater than the HD8100-RF.
