The SolidHand-CM02S is a steel cable organizer that screws to the underside of the desktop and brings the power strip and all the cables together in one place under the desk. The power strip sits in a tray that can be bolted anywhere on the steel panel, so it no longer lies on the floor, collects no dust and still stays within reach. The desktop stays tidy and the cables no longer hang loose down to the floor.
The structure is made of powder-coated steel and ABS plastic. The permissible load is 8 kg — enough for a power strip together with several power supplies and their cables. The organizer consists of two joined panels with a total width of 768 mm, and the dense perforation lets you choose how the panels are joined and match the width to your desk.
The entire surface of the organizer is covered with a dense grid of holes and slots. Single cables can be routed through the openings, and the hooks and trays supplied can be attached anywhere on the panel. Power supplies rest on a tray, excess cable is coiled up and hung on a hook, and the leads to the monitor or computer are spread across separate slots.
The open, airy construction allows free air circulation, which matters with power supplies and power strips that warm up in use. Cabling arranged this way also stays easy to reach: swapping a cable or moving a plug does not require dismantling the whole organizer.
A hook-and-loop cable tie is also included; use it to bundle the cables running from the organizer to your devices or to fasten a power supply to the panel.
The organizer is fixed with screws to the underside of the desktop, using two side brackets. No free desk edge is needed, so it also suits desks with a modesty panel, desks pushed against a wall and anywhere a clamp mount cannot be used. The screwed bracket stays stable on height-adjustable desks as well.
The organizer can be screwed on at the back of the desk or at its side — the mounting spot depends on how the workstation is arranged and which side the power cables come from.
