Frequently asked questions

What verification methods does the TimeLok-300 support?

The recorder supports triple verification: fingerprint, RFID card or key fob (125 kHz and 13.56 MHz), and PIN code. Employees can use any of these methods or a combination, depending on company policy.

Does the device work without an internet connection?

Yes. The TimeLok-300 operates fully offline. It stores data in internal memory and does not require an internet connection for attendance registration or report generation. WiFi is available only for synchronising data between multiple devices.

Can the TimeLok-300 be used for access control?

Yes. The built-in Wiegand IC interface allows the recorder to communicate with access control systems such as electronic door locks and entry controllers. This makes it suitable for controlling access to specific rooms or areas in the workplace in addition to recording attendance.

How is attendance data exported for reporting?

Data can be exported via a USB pendrive or external drive connected to the USB port. The device automatically generates a text document with the selected employee data and time range — no additional software is required. The Attendance Tracker application (available to download) provides additional reporting options.
