The SecureEntry-AC400 offers two independent authentication methods: reading a 125 kHz RFID card or entering an individual PIN code on the touch keypad, giving you flexibility in choosing how access is granted. The device operates at DC 9V–16V with a working current of 70 mA. Once connected to an electromagnetic or electronic lock, users can unlock the door using either method. An additional advantage is the Wiegand 26 Output interface, which allows integration with external controllers and third-party access control systems.
The reader is equipped with a dual-color LED indicator and an audible buzzer signal. When an authorized RFID card is presented or the correct PIN is entered, the LED turns green and an audible confirmation tone sounds. In the case of an unregistered card or incorrect PIN, the LED flashes red and a different tone indicates a failed authorization attempt. This immediate feedback helps both users and administrators quickly identify access events.
The Wiegand 26 Output interface makes the SecureEntry-AC400 compatible with a wide range of access controllers and third-party systems. Communication range reaches up to 100 m, and data is transferred in real time. The device reads EM-type cards at 125 kHz with a response time of under 0.2 seconds. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C and humidity tolerance is 10%–90%, ensuring reliable performance in demanding indoor and outdoor environments.

Yes. The SecureEntry-AC400 supports both authentication methods independently. You can configure individual users to use an RFID card, a PIN code, or both. This flexibility is useful in environments where some users carry cards and others prefer a PIN.
Yes. The housing is rated as waterproof, protecting the internal electronics against water ingress. Combined with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, the device is well-suited for outdoor entry points, parking barriers and gate access points.
The SecureEntry-AC400 reads EM-type RFID cards operating at 125 kHz. Standard proximity cards and key fobs using the EM4100 or compatible protocol will work. Cards using MIFARE (13.56 MHz) are not compatible with this reader.
The Wiegand 26 Output interface allows the SecureEntry-AC400 to connect to a separate access controller, alarm panel or building management system. The reader sends card or PIN data to the controller, which makes the final door-open decision. This setup is standard in professional access control installations.
