Downloading data stored in the internal memory of the time attendance recorder

The work time clock provides access to the data stored in the internal memory at any time. Downloading data in the form of a report is possible from the device or using an external storage device, such as a pendrive, which just needs to be plugged into the USB port of the device. In addition to the possibility of generating a report for all user logins, the user has the option to generate a report for a specific employee or selected period. Types of access verification

Time attendance recorders, depending on the model, can offer three types of access verification for recording working hours.

  • Fingerprint time attendance recorder - for each employee, fingerprints must be entered into the recorder, usually the thumb or index finger. Then, when the employee arrives at work, they are required to immediately place their finger on the scanner in the recorder, so the arrival time will be automatically recorded in the internal memory. Similarly, when leaving the company, the finger must also be placed to correctly record the end of work. However, it should be remembered that if you decide to use this type of verification, you must have written consent from the employee.

  • Card time attendance recorder - depending on the model, the recorder may be equipped with RFID technology. Thanks to this, it is possible to record the time of arrival and departure using a dedicated RFID card with a frequency of 125 kHz. The card should have a unique number assigned to each employee. When the employee arrives at work, they place the card at the marked RFID location, and the arrival time is recorded. Similarly, after finishing work, the same action should be performed.

In and out recorder with RFID card

  • PIN number - there is also the possibility of assigning a unique number to each employee. Then, when the employee arrives and leaves, they log in to the recorder using a PIN consisting of numbers.

The above types of verification can also be used to manage access to individual buildings or rooms.

What additional functions can time attendance registration systems have?

Devices for recording working hours are often equipped with a display, where we see the current date and time. Some models inform the user about the correct recording of the arrival and departure times.

In addition to these standard features, time attendance recorders can have additional functions and various extended versions.

In the HDWR store offer, you will find models that additionally have WiFi, WEB, and P2P, which is a model of communication in a computer network, where all network nodes are equal and can communicate directly with each other and exchange data. Additionally, we offer recorders equipped with an additional battery, allowing operation without the need for power connection for up to 4 hours. For users who would like to use the time attendance recorder as a device for managing access control to individual rooms, we recommend models offering IC Wiegand, which is an integrated circuit designed for communication between devices such as readers and buttons, and access control systems.
